0.2.8 Research

Research & Development (or R&D for short) has been added in 0.2.7. It's accessible at all times.

Research Edit

There are currently 67 technologies available (57 CPU and 10 Tech). The requirements for unlocking research are year, CPU level and in some cases, there is a prerequisite technology.

Research is grouped into 2 tabs: CPU and Technology.

Note that 1 level is 100 experience.

0.2.8 Research Options

R&D Budget is accessible by clicking the gear in the top-right corner.

The amount of money you've allocated for your budget will be deducted daily, but only if you're currently researching.

At the beginning, the maximum amount is $500 which yields 2.52 RP/day. The default value is $162 which amounts to 1 RP/day. Maximum budget increases by $300 every 10 years.
